A Plumas County Holiday Soundtrack

Produced by Indian Valley Innovation Hub, this new folk/Americana song is a Plumas County love letter—rooted in our historic downtowns, local merchants, and the light-parade magic that brings our mountain towns to life each winter. The lyrics celebrate the everyday makers of the season—bakers, florists, woodworkers, chefs, and shopkeepers—alongside the simple joys of cocoa, storefront displays, carols, and close-knit neighbors. It’s a warm small-town antidote to the rush: a “mountain-town tonic” to big-city holiday stress, and a reminder of the romance of an old-west Christmas. It’s also meant to invite winter travelers to slow down, visit our downtowns, and give local businesses a boost during the quieter season. Proceeds benefit the Made in Plumas County program and local product makers.
